FAQs

Ceremony and Reception Attire

Black Tie

Gentlemen are requested to wear tuxedos. Ladies are invited to wear elegant evening gowns; colorful and vibrant styles are welcome. Kindly note that white is reserved for the bride.

Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Party Attire

Cocktail attire (ties optional) | Barong Tagalog and Filipiniana welcome

Barong Tagalog and Filipiniana are traditional Filipino formal garments. We will be wearing this attire at our rehearsal dinner and welcome party and warmly invite guests to do the same. Traditional Filipino attire is completely optional.

Will there be food at the welcome party?

As our rehearsal dinner will take place earlier in the evening, only light fare, desserts, and libations will be served at the welcome party. Guests are encouraged to enjoy Asheville’s restaurant scene prior to the event. Some of our favorite local restaurants include Chestnut, Corner Kitchen, and Table.

May I bring my children?

We kindly request that the celebration remain an adult affair.

May I bring an additional guest?

Due to limited capacity, we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on each invitation. Kindly refer to your written invitation for the names of those included in your household.

What time should guests arrive?

The ceremony will begin promptly at four thirty in the afternoon. Guests are encouraged to arrive at Seely Pavilion by four o’clock to allow time for seating.

Parking Information

Guests staying off property are encouraged to use Uber or Lyft transportation to and from the venue. Parking is available via valet or self-parking at the Omni Grove Park Inn for a daily rate of thirty-eight dollars.

What will the weather be like?

Late June in Asheville is typically warm, with daytime temperatures in the mid-eighties and cooler evenings in the mid-sixties. Shade and refreshments will be provided for the ceremony.
